The shoes feature a black leather toe cap, layered over an obsidian body which are adorned with eyelets for breathability. The fuel orange laces, ACG triangle provide a bold contrast to the indigo force mesh collar which has been raised to offer additional ankle support. The black heel-counter is sandwiched between a fuel orange heel stabiliser and heel tab which provides for easy carrying. Built for treks and trails, these shoes have their heritage in the early years of ACG’s official creation in the early nineties. Established as a continuation of the NIKE HIKE collection of the 80’s, ACG has provided maximum function blended with simplistic teach-heavy styling. It is currently designed by Matthew Millward and has collaborated with NikeLab, Acronym and other tech-wear companies. It was initially inspired by the hiking ‘stonemasters’ of Yosemite.
